Going to be buying a 1988 fairlady z from someone who imported it 2 years ago, runs like a top but needs new rear window, and a battery...

its a 2+2 with 62000 km's or 38525 miles on it. he wants 2000$$$ and has done everything to make it D.O.T. Legal and has the paper work and vehicle inspections to prove it. mint on the inside and out, T-tops are crisp, underbody sealed and rust removed, has been safetied in my province and has been plated for the road. even speaks japanese when you leave the lights or door open. i'm selling my daily driver (98 Si) to pay for this.

Pretty cool car what do u think!

I've got a parts car lined up as well an 1986 300zx so the window and other extra parts will be covered.

Do i Dare Revive this beast from storage or do i let my rwd dreams go with the wind???? The pannel is open for discussion

What engine is in the car? The Japanese had versions had some different engine options and might be something for you to consider in your decision. I'm a fan of the Z31 chassis, and I'm a fan of the vg30et, I'm not a fan of RHD or of 2+2's, for some people the 2+2 is a necessity and for some people the RHD adds some mystique. Resale value on this car will likely be less than a US market LHD car as it's such a small market of people wanting the RHD Japanese version of this car. If you just want a Z31 their prices are pretty reasonable these days and while you might not be able to find these kind of miles they are dependable cars with good parts availability and reasonable easy to service.
