Ok guys so I’m converting my z24i to a 38 outlaw from Weber. I just got this truck so I haven’t had it running. Thanks to some guys who have done it in the past I know that changing ignition parts is unnecessary due to the back up logic the cam sensor follows. My problem is that I’ve found a spot where mice have chewed the ecu wires (approximately 4-5). I would be comfortable repairing them but that introduces my question. Since I am swapping to carb. Is their anything on my vehicle that will still require the ecu????? I can’t find any info of what all it dictates and 90% of the wires run to the engine bay alone so I know they will be obsolete.
