1988 300zx lacks power

when i step on the gas my 300zx it moves ok but when i get to around 45 mph and i push on the gas the car accelerates very slowly to 55 and 65 and75 it really dosent surge at all. my wife's galant has more power at higher speed. plzzz help

common probs with those include, Airflow meter and its connections, coolant temp sensor connection, cap and rotor issues. Start by taking a look at those things.
