1987 PF Sunroof

I am a new *old PF* owner. I am trying to reduce the sunroof noise. I'm getting quite a wind whistle. What is the route to take to reduce the infiltration to the best that it can be reduced to? A) Replace the entire body-gasket B) Is there a way to increase the tension of the pull-down force?

There are 2 thread inserts on the underside of the sunroof glass. What are those for? I can imagine me inventing a tensioner of sorts to increase the pull-down force.

I just need to know what is the best and most effective way to improve the cab noise. We live in what is arguably the windiest place in the US...Southeast Wyoming. So I will always have wind noise. But I am sure I can improve this some. Before I spend the money on a new gasket to improve the bulb that seals against the glass I want some feedback.
