1987 nissan hb turbo project

i was wondering what the right type of turbo would get me a great amount of hp without spendng alot of money and also where i could find a turbo manifold to fit my 1987 nissan hardbody with the z24

the z24 engine is fine and very torquey. Just buy a mnaifold designed for the nissan ka24e not ka24de! http://www.jgstools.com and any t3 turbo will suit you just fine but one from a rb25det or vg30et engine are pretty good and commmon. they will support just under 300hp, you will also need a way to control the fuel. So, a z18et efi/ turbo setup would be ideal but very hard to find in the states. You would have to contact our aussie bretheren for those kinds of parts. g/l. peace.
