I bought my Z three months ago. The previous owner replaced the clutch, throwout bearing, and pressure plate. Also had replaced the slave cylinder and I'm still having problems with the clutch in engaging. I replaced the fluid with new and for about 5 weeks it worked well. Yesterday I noticed that the clutch pedal was back to the floor and after pumping it a few times still no petal. Before I could pump the pedal and it would be able to engage. Any help would be helpful!

check clutch fluid agian . also check the soft line that runs from the hardline to the slave cylinder for a leaky membrane.

Replace the clutch master and slave cylinders. Then replace the clutch damper with a brake hose.

I am having the same trouble that you had.. The pedal is down to the floor.. What all did you do to get your ride back on the road and how much did you invest in the clutch operation..?

well it's silly to ask for prices on stock replacement aprts when you cna quickly check at autozone.com or napaonline.com or any retailer of your choice, I understand if he were asking about labor of aftermarket parts

The clutch damper really does suck.

Replacing it with the 280 brake line fixed my problem completely when I had this issue. Everything LOOKED ok on the outside, but kept having to pump the clutch at intervals to build up enough pressure to disengage the clutch.

AZ bum is definitely the man when it comes to z31 knowledge. I recognize the name from another forum I used to frequent back before I had to sell the 2 seater for child rearing...
