1986 z31 starting problems
1986 z31 starting problems
today i went up to my car to start it. i belive the cyllinoid is not gettin power due to the securtiy system not turning off when i unlock the car... does this problem sound common?? my mechaninc said that i should lokc and unlcok the driver then passenger door it worked the first time... but not after the first tiem.... today i messed with a wire "yellow" connected to the cyllinoid and it worked

Mods will be moving this to the Z31 section soon...
But I don't think its something with your security system if you're messing with wires and getting it to turn over.
IIRC, to disable the security system, you have to unlock, lock, then unlock the door again (driver side)
