Hi,

I just bought a 86 hardbody with a rebuilt Z24 engine in it. I would like to know if it is possible to do a engine swap to the Z24i and if so, What is a good year to pull one out of and what else may I have to change? Can I use the old transmission? Any help would be appreciated!

The transmission and the rest of the mechanicals will bolt right up but you will be doing some wiring.
