Do urethane bushings front and rear and put on new shocks, that should stiffen and tighten it up a ton. That will get rid of any slop, if you want more springs and sway bars would be next.

Hoosier slicks seem to be good, see the embedded video in this thread. sit-shotgun-t504509.html

I believe Pezi's truck is on stock suspension (stock leaf springs w/lowering blocks, cranked down torsion bars, KYB monomax shocks) with the addition of the Hoosier racing tires. He added camber to the front suspension somehow. He also has a stripped interior which helps with the weight.

Look at how good one of these trucks can handle. Pezi's truck holds the road on stock suspension with leaf springs! It doesn't even have rack and pinion steering. Sure, it is lowered some, but it isn't 4-linked, or airbagged. It is tricked; but it is still a simple, small truck, much of it the way it came from the factory.

Actually you can research members Pezi, and Pejsa to see what a Nissan truck can do on the track. You can check out some of the threads I have made as I slowly build a GT Sport Truck out of mine. Mr.ecoolgar can show you how to make multiple years fit into one truck and seang has a pretty good understanding of HBs overall. We also have turbo'd trucks as well as SR swapped trucks here. Feel free to use any info Nico has posted to help you.

go to energy suspensions web site for the bushings, trust me that will do more than any one thing to get rid of slop. parts are not expensive but installation may get high unless you feel good installing your self, you will need a press. Then get alignment.
