1986 ST 4X4

Hello all! I just found this site when a customer came into my national chain auto parts store last night needing help with an alternator. He caught my attention because his 1985 Nissan 2WD was the same color as my own.

I am the original owner of this baby pictured. She was purchased by me in Kingman, Arizona January 1986 from a Ford Dealer (go figure).

It has been around the country with me and is still going strong. I have had many offers and one dealer thought I was trading it for a vehicle in Virginia Beach that I was purchasing and was extremely disappointed when he found this was not offered as a trade.

Been together 26 years and still going.

This photo I took this spring after a good wash/wax. The cap is now off. Ugly but functional. I refuse to sell the cap because they are very hard to come by for this year.



This is a baby pic of the truck in Arizona in January 1986.


This one was taken May 30 when I was preparing to haul a motorcycle purchase and the cap is now off the truck.

I'll have to agree with EG3. That is a beautiful thing! I bought a 84 new off the lot back in the day. I still kick myself for selling it.
So now I went out and found Kathleen.

I'm sure I will have this truck to the end.

Outstanding that you made it safely. Hated sending you to the competition for your part, but they could get it quicker so you could continue you journey quicker. Definitely stop by whenever you pass through!

I doubt you'll ever see this, but I hope you somehow do. I'd absolutely love to buy that truck from you. My dad had one just like it when he was my age, right down to the color. I'd love to get him another one. If you see this and are interested please let me know.

Most gracious to offer to buy, but this was a gift January 1986 from my Grandparents. They have been gone 11 and 8 years. The sentimental value could not have a price tag placed on it.
