Ok, So I was driving on the highway the other day, and my gas pedal suddenly stopped giving gas. It still resisted my pushing on it, but none of that resistance made my car speed up. I tried changing to gradually lower and lower gears, giving it gas and shifting up, but to no avail. eventually we came to a complete stop, and I turned it off. Being on the freeway in an area with no shoulders and lacking a deathwish, I immediately turned it back on. I was able to get a little power if I stayed at low RPMs, (below 3k) and managed to make it off the freeway, where I let it sit for a bit. About 15 min later, I started it up and everything went fine.

So, To sum it all up: - Car loses throttle response or something- Gradually, no matter how much was done to rectify the situation, the car slows to a stop.- Turning off the car at a dead stop and turning back on solve the problem.-Whoofun!

-Thanks,Brett

Check or replace your fuel filter could be getting clogged. Make sure you don't have a resticted exhaust I've seen converter elemint come loose and block exhaust flow.

Thanks, it hasn't done it again, but I got the filter changed anyways. As for the blocking of the exhaust, my muffler is in my trunk (fell off), and I can see a healthy dose of noxious gases coming from the pipe, so I don't really think that's the problem.
