1986 Nissan hardbody truck question.

I have a 1986 nissan truck I recently acquired with a bad 4 cyl engine. I have a 1997 that ALSO has a 4 cyl engine. My question is: will the 97 engine work in the 86? Also will the accessories bolt up the same? Or do I need to hunt me down an engine? Please let me know by replying to [email protected] I am not near my computer ALL the time. But a reply to that email will go to my phone which I have with me a lot.

Well that depends if your 1986 is a D21 hardbody or a 720 model pickup. You didn't specify. If it's a D21 you will need to transfer the engine and all the wiring and computer for it to work. If it's a 720 it's the same idea just nothing is going to line up, you will need to modify things to fit.
