1986 720 Weber conversion

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I have a question: I have an 86 720 with the z24 engine. It's carbureted, but has the electro injection logo on it. Does this mean it's fuel injected? Also, would I be able to install a Weber carb on it without the required conversion? Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

well... simple really... yes that would mean its FI

It can't be carburated and fuel injected at the same time. The sign probably means that there is some control from an ECU for the carb. A pic would clear it all up.
