1986 300zx turbo wheels on a 96q

i have a set of 86 z 16 inch turbo wheels that i bought as take off wheels from Paul Newmans Bob Sharp racing car,will they work on my 96 q,are the offsets and hub centric specs similar?

I am not sure about that particular year, but 16 inch Z wheels are generally supposed to be one of teh best fits for a Q period.Congrats you most likely made a great buy.

I hope they will work,I used to have a 86z thats why I bought the wheels as extras in case I ruined one back when I owned that car,I have stored these wheels for 15 years in hope I would make use of them someday,they are too beautiful to part with,even though I have never used them!I am considering using the stock q wheels in winter with snow tires and the z wheels with summer tires.

That is exactly what i would do.Actually I wouldnt mind havign a set of stock wheel right now to put some cheap all seasons on for a weak KY winter.

Winter tires?? What's that, is there some reason you need different tires in the winter?

Sorry, a so cal boy that now lives in SF Bay area the only reason for snow to be on the ground is because I'm going skiing
