This is the Z32 forum, you're looking for the Z31 forum - though, some people here would probably help you before a mod moves your post to the correct section welcome to Nico!

so you have a high idle, and unless you've recently done some work ont he car I'd suspect a vacume leak, take a good long look at all your vac hoses, chances are one or more is broken or cracked

Actually P3 he's in the right forum, your in the wrong one.

The other thing might be the CHTS (Cylinder Head Temp Sensor). If that is original or not replaced recently try that part for sure. That has alot to do with cold starting.

I'm guessing that a moderator moved the thread...

Anyway, he could try unplugging the CHTS and see if that makes any difference.

Good tune up is what your z needs. Chanhe out the O2 sensor, CHTS,CHTS harness, Distrubtor cap, Rotor , Spark plug wires, spark plugs. Buying a spool of vacume lines and replacing every hose will help a ton.

http://www.courtesyparts.com/ is a good place to buy parts. Nothing beat oem replacement parts
