Hi there, I have a 86 300zx I have just purchased. I am trying to replace the heater core, but I'm stuck on the last three screws under the dash to remove the dash. I did not drop the steering column.
any sujestions on how to get to the screws.

Welcome to Nico!
It's been a while since I did this. First when pulling the dash you must drop the column, it's 4 bolts so super easy. I don't recall that the dash had to come out to get the heater core but my memory might be off a bit. The FSM as well as haynes should have instructions for heater core removal. and if the dash need sot go, the column is a must.

The Hayes manual is available on Amazon.com for a reasonable amount.

The pictures are outdated but the instructions are good. Combine that with some Youtube video and you're good to go.
