So, I had codes, 13,21,23,31&41 I fixed code 13 by replacing the pigtail connector, fixed 21 by replacing the plugs, wires, rotor and distcap, fixed 41 by replacing the fuel temp pressure sensor. In attempt to fix the tps code 23 I replaced the pigtaiI connector and sensor. It did nothing but make the car spitter and idle extremely low, definitively runs worst than before.
I tested to see if the connector was receiving juice and it tested at 11.5v-12v in one .4v-.5v in the middle wire and .034v in the last one
I've read a lot of threads on these codes and all lead me no were really. Lol
What other solutions are possible? For these tps code 23

The third wire from the tps should have no voltage. Might be a bad harness or ecu.

I'm currently looking for a ecu that's tested and guaranteed to work. I do notice that after 15 mins of running the inside of the car fills up with smoke. There is a couple of taped vacuum hoses and one is bent to fit completely. Would that cause it to idle all messed up and cause a tps code?

If the inside of your cabin is filling with smoke I'd suspect the heater core. there aren't very many vac lines on these cars, fpr, egr, hvac, heater control valve and vac canister and that's about it. Any of these left open could cause a vac leak, none of them plugged will cause a tps code. the egr could stick and allow gasses to keep recirculating, although they usually just clog shut, you can remove the egr and plug the holes and see if it helps.

So I swapped ecu's with my buddy, his car runs excellent no codes so I know the ecu is good. There was no change, same codes showed up. I'm now replacing all vacuum hoses, hoping that's a solution. I have pictures but have no idea how to upload them. I did find three loose connectors, the one that goes to the tps if it was automatic, one single wire connector that seems to go under the intake manifold on the left hand side, and one behind the intake manifold. To the right of the egr. I will not give up until it runs good and passes smog haha even if it means swapping the engine! :mike

One of those might be the coolant temp sender, it's locates in the intake and has a single wire, it only sends signal to the temp gauge.
