1985 pickup, fuel pump relay or ??

Hey, I'm posting this for my husband (and friend), so bear with me...

The engine doesn't seem to be getting fuel. They changed the fuel pump and filter, I believe they checked the lines and now they believe the problem is within the fuel relay. Problem is that they can't find the fuel relay. Any thoughts???

Would help to know the truck model yr etc. Hard to help when we have no idea what truck you are talking about. Also need to know what has or has not been checked, Computer fuel pump fuel pump fuse fuel pump relay, filter lines etc. Sorry but the more info we get the better we can help.
