1985 coupe drive shaft specs? Same as 2+2?

Just curious to know whether or not the coupe and 2+2 drive shafts are interchangable.

I suspect I have some bad u joints on my drive shaft and after looking found that the u joints are not replaceable on the 300zx.... WTF LOL.

But anyways there is a 84 2+2 in the junkyard and if its the same I will go check and see if the driveshaft is worth pulling.

I know with the Z32's they're not interchangeable. I can't imagine why it would be any different with the Z31's.

Found a turbo coupe today but the driveshaft was just as bad.

Anyone know where I can buy the rear end mount and the bushings??

Why not just have a driveshaft made locally/buy online? We have a vendor that makes driveshafts for just about anything. I know in my city, there is a machine shop that can make a driveshaft for just about anything too.

As for the bushings, I would go polyurethane. I don't know enough about the Z31 to help with the mount.

I'd see if Energy Suspension has the bushings.

Bushings can be had come MSA, Blackdragon, Z31parts or any nissan dealer
