Hello to everyone. New to the forum! I just got a 85 nissan 720 4x4 this weekend. It has the 2.4l 8 plug. Here's what's giving me trouble. It has a low idle. It pretty much does it all the time. Won't stay running unless your foot is on the gas. I dove into it, and the first thing I tried was making sure the firing order was correct. It is correct. Brand new distributor cap, plugs, and wires. Still bad idle. But one thing i noticed was leaving my shop, you have to climb a hill. The truck sputtered out going up the hill. What could that be from? I'm thinking maybe the choke flap isn't working correctly, but that was a thought I had laying in he's last night. So I haven't been able to check that yet. Any suggestions? Thanks!
