1985 300ZX Z31 TURBO Locks

Hey.

How does one remove the locks on the T-Top doors off a 300zx z31 turbo 1985.

All i see is the electric system around the backside of the lock when I take off the panel. Is there a how to for the lock removal?

also, which Manual for the z31 300zx 1985 turbo is the best for one?

There's nothing electric in the t-tops, it's a standard cam that moves long pins in or out ...

Are you asking about how to remove the door lock cylinder from the door? Which does have an illumination ring.

One set screw IIRC, it's easier if you remove the handle from the car first which is just removing the rods, the electrical connector and 2 10mm nuts.

As I think about it I think the illumination rang was held on by a single screw and the cylinder itself had a "U" clip that holds it in. Sorry all these cars blend together over time.
