1985 300zx wont start cause of security problem

here is the deal...i accidently drove my car through a too deep puddle and the security system went off...i pulled off the cable from the battery and it kinda stop but wouldnt start anymorefirst i thought its just because of the water in the exhaust but that should be out by nowi tried to reset the alarm but all the things i could find about it dont really worklike locking the car and unlocking it with the key and so oni even changed the coil cause it didnt have any spark but that obviously wasnt the problemthe car tries to start but there are still no sparks...checked that....i just think that its still the security system that doesnt let me start the car....or should i just try to change the oil and gas and so on??? it has both and i just cant figure out what it might beis there a way to bypass the anti-theft warning...buying a new one would be too expensivemy husband just wants to keep that car so im really trying to find out what the problem might bewould be great if any of you could help me with this thingthanks Steph
