it might be an anniversary edition? in 84 they made what is ofter referred to as the AE, they were al turbo with leather interior and sonic seats, they came 2 tone silver and black

were the jambs and engine bay painted as well? not many people go to the trouble of painting underhood or under the luggage carpet when they repaint a car, and I think you can go to a paint supply house and look up the colors used by nissan that year to determine the color code, and I think it's stamped in the tag in the drivers door jamb.....maybe

I thought that 1985 all had 4 lug wheels. The one seat that it has says turbo on it but they are cloth.Did all 85's have headlight washers and adjustable shocks? also has three inch stainless steel ex. with no muffler or or catilac converter .I'm tring to figure out the spoke wheels so I can find center caps for them.also came with a body kit that I can't figure out who made it. Has 0- rust but I had to have the auto. trans. rebuilt cost $750.00 Oh yeal I paid $400.00 but i'm gonna have $3000. in it before im done. replacing the seats with Nissan motorsports seat and new carpet.
Figures. Completely ignore all the other posts since they don't suit your requirements.... So, let me answer one at a time.Hoods are easily swappable. 4 bolts and it comes right off. Believing any color under there and you might as well believe my ex wife if she says I was the *** hole in the relationship.

5 lugs!?!?!? Let me direct you to a link that you should read....http://z31.com/wiki/doku.php?i...heelsEverything there is the truth, nothing but the truth, and will not change the truth no matter how many times you ask.

Gee.... One seat says turbo.... Have you actually looked under the hood? Have you looked at the VIN plate? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time.

Headlight washers are a tricky subject. The Canadian models all had them. Some sort or requirement for those Canucks. Most GLL US turbos also had them in 84-86. They were part of the digital dash package.

Ajustable shocks: All turbos except the 88SS models had electronically adjustable shocks. Part of the turbo option package.

Seeing as how catalytic converters were required starting in the 70s, any car without one never left the factory or dealership showroom that way. And since the NAs were equiped with 2.25 and the turbos with 2.5" exhausts, it means the exhaust you are finding is not original.

Body kit: You're going to have to be more descriptive if you really want help with that. Pictures would be the most helpful.

I have seen roller paint jobs that look good. The most important part is prepping the surface. And then the post paint care. If the paint is thick enough and dry enough and sticks to the surface well enough, any blemishes can be wet sanded out.

Yeah, it's all in the pre-prep. I think I would prefer a roller version to a rattle can tho. It could be applied thinker to allow for more water sanding to get rid of inconsistancies.
