1985 300zx no fuel plz help

it sat for 4 years, but last year was the last year it would fire.full of water every winteri got a used cpu and no start (it has a 24 on the cover)mine is non 5 speed w/airjumperd the fuel pump with 12 dc then ran over and started the car,after a min it fired and with some foot pumping got it to runthen shut it all downi think its a fuel relay, but dont knowcan one of you help me ? (new to forum)

sounds like the fuel pump isn't getting voltage? is it possible to test the continuity of the fuel relay? relays are relatively cheap, you could rule that out buy replacing it. i don't know much about cars though.

p.s. wrong forum. this is the 90-96 (Z32) forum. you want the Z31 forum. close though. good luck with your car. i have a z32 but fyi i like z31's also.

Welcome to Nico!I moved your thread here to the appropriate section, why do you assume the problem is fuel? is the gas in the tank 4 years old? will the car fire if you give ti a shot of starter fluid? might be worth checking the connector on the MAS for any moisture, and fresh plugs would also be a good idea
