I recently purchased this 300ZX (Definitely a project car) and the running lights, auxiliary head lamps, and head lamp motors don't work. Checked the fuses, and Clearance Illumination fuse is blown. Replaced it and the head lamp motors worked for a second before the fuse blew again. Removed the head lamp moto control cluster, replaced the fuse, and it blew again.

The Service Manual says this fuse controls the Clearance, Running, Auxiliary, and License Plate lights, as well as the Head Lamp Motor controls (But not the motors themselves), which is an awful lot of stuff. Was just hoping someone here might know of a common, or likely, fault in this circuit that I could check before I dive in blind.

It's a 2+2, automatic, with the digital dash, if that helps. Digital Dash power supply was recently re-soldered successfully.

Thanks!
