i'm half way between front end conversion (84 to 88) car is all black just bought a tbo replica lip a month or so ago bumper hood and headlights are red.
Down to business: i've been trying to fix this for weeks, i happened a few days after a monsoon of a rainstorm t-tops leak, hood was off (body work) and windows were cracked 2 or 3 inches: about halfway through the storm i did my best to wrap the distibutor and cold air and cracked windows in trash bags (Because i forgot my keys in haste to get to my car). Drove it home the same day while still raining
with absolutely no problems (other than soaked to the bone). a few days after it took a few seconds longer to fire up. Same day after school approximately 5 hours sitting in the parking lot. i spent 10 minutes or so trying to fire it up when finally started (no hood still 
). i got about a mile down the road hit a redlight and it just quit no sputter or any strange noises just stalled.i had power it would crank fine had all lights also but wouldnt even try to fire. got my dad to tow it back to school, sat there for a week (no hood). a week or so after a friends dad towed it to his house been sitting there since (been weeks)Since then:
Replaced ignition coil ( because i wasnt getting spark through the coil wire)
remanufactured ECU
the coil i replaced the day after
ECU was a few days ago after it rained a few more times (windows up
) checked:
fuses
fuible links
relays
ECU (when i try to pull codes the LEDs wont even give me an all clear)
-obviously no power
ALSO:
replacing the dash because it was torn to bits and pieces dash is from and 87 z31 white face analog w/ black
I have used and abused her she needs to run wild again
any help is appreciated
be glad to clear anything up the may be confusing
