turbo or n/a? look for rust, it's the nuber one killer, look at the bottom of floor pans behind the seats, 80 k is way low miles but has the timing belt been changed? it's due at 60k, and a belt snap could take the motor with it, power steering leaks are common especially when people use PS fluid instead of ATF, assuming it's a t-top car if it sits in the waeather the drain tubes point to the rear crossmsmber bushings rotting them out, the digital dash is a common problem if it works, great

Its non turbo, im pretty sure its rust free except for one spot, i don't remember where exactly. It has sat in a barn for most of its life and this is the first winter its seen. Im not sure about the timing chain, but im pretty sure power steering pump was just replaced. I was a little woried about the digital cluster, what would you have to do if it went out? get a whole new cluster? Other than the timing chain what else is a common problem? Do you think it would be a low matinence car?

timing "belt" no chains on the VG, with propper maintenance, timing bet water pump etc, it should be pretty trouble free considdering it's an 80k mile car, power steering pump is an odd problem, normally it's the rack that leaks, rust si the number one killer, look very long and hard for rust, also the base of the "A" pillar is a rust prone spot on the Z31

common problems:- fuel level sending units- vacuum leaks causing heat in AC system- headlight switch causing one or more lights to not come on or stay on- rear window leaks- other little **** that you should expect with a 20+ year old car.
