Hey guys, new to the site but ive been a auto enthusiast for many years. i mainly build and race 1970's and 80's toyotas but i scored tis nice little 300zx for $1000 bucks. The car will start and run for about 30 seconds and then it dies. It will start again right away but still dies again after 30 sconds. It has new fuel pump and filter, new distributor, new plugs and wires, new air filter and mass air sensor ive also changed out several of the expensive sensors on the intake. The car is an automatic and i noticed that when i took the codes of the ecm it had one for the neutral safety switch throwing an error code. Is it possible that it is whats causing it to have problems with staying running? Im into the car about 1800 now with all of the parts ive put into it but i still cant get it to stay running. Any ideas? I need some help, and i really dont want to sell the damn thing but if i cant get it to run that might be my only choice.

CHT, O2, IACV. when it fails to restart pull a plug, if it's wet with fuel the issue is likely the CHTS or O2. If the plugs aren't fuel fouled it's likely the iacv.

That would indicate a bad, dirty or maladjusted iacv.

Or a bad relay, if everythign works and it cranks and fires then shuts off like maybe the fuel pump looses power after the key rotates back to run form crank?
