Good evening all, I'm trying to revive my 1983 720 and I've run into a problem. The engine will crank but it's not getting fuel to the motor. new fuel pump (that works) and in-line fuel filter installed, also the tubing from tank to filter, then filter to pump, then to the metal lines that run the length of the truck. What else could the problem be??? :gotme

If u know everything else is good check the carburetor. 1st thing I'd do is open the float compartment & see if the needle is stuck closed. That would be a simple fix. are u sure it isn't getting gas or could it be getting too much & flooding out??? Also is the fuel pump installed correctly??? Just trying to cover bases but if the pump is backward or the electricals are connected backward or if the wrong line is connected to the pump.... Don't wanna be insulting but I don't know your experience & those things happen. Hal

BTW, it may also be as simple as replacing the float in the carburetor too ;)
