1982 datsun 720 4x4 skip, no power

1982 datsun 720 4x4....no power...skips at idol...boggs like cat. converter is clogged...new wires, plugs, carb, dist. cap, checked timing, carb cleaner on vacume lines and intake...only thing i havent done is new timing chain or head gasket.....looses no water...and has 71,000 miles on it...helppp....thanks
