I want to get a truck bed cap for my '81 King Cab and don't know if there is a standard sizing with truck canopies. Does anyone know which type of cap would fit best with my model. I know that the bed is about 6' in length.

It has the same size bed as a short-wheelbase 720 so if you get a cap for a short-wheelbase 720 it should fit.
