Hello again, Finally got her a litlle cleaner, some new clutch hydrolics and front bushings, thanks for the references everyone, cant wait to start some real work.

rims are still dirty, think till I can buy some fisks or somthing im just gonna paint em black.

I think the rims are fine too, if they were painted grey again... I seriously don't think you can put anything "modern" on that car and have it look right at all... it's a cool retro-mobile, I'd just apply some shine/polish and keep on with it.

Thanks bro, Yeah I cant wait till i can find the chrome trim that goes around the wheel wells! didn't come with the car, it was there originally tho. I can see the gunk left over. I removed the back trim because it is broken and rattles. if i cant find a new one i will make a carbon fiber lay... simple and it will look fresh.Personally I think this car is gonna rock with 16x7.5 mags.

very nice! I miss my 510. You dont see alot those 210/510 here in Albuquerque. I want one.

I just got back from Cuauhtemoc Mexico & Chihuaua(sp) Mexico and I was stunned at the number of 210s & 510s all over the city. I counted at least 10-12 while I was there.

Oh man thats clean. There is one for sale here in madison for $250 pretty rusty though. Clean datsun man.

Whoa, I got driven home from the hospital as a newborn baby back in January of 1981 in this very same 210 in this exact color.

I agree with the idea of avoiding trying to modernize this car too much. Original is the best way to go with these if at all possible. I coudn't really get a good look from the pictures, but if the center wheel caps have the datsun logo on them, those are worth some money. (If you ever have to take this somewhere to have it worked on, TAKE THEM OFF! If not, chances are they won't be there when you get the car back). You've got yourself a sweet ride man, let me know if you ever want to sell!
