Just curious if anyone knows anything about em, a friend just bought one and the places we've found on the interweb say they're anywhere from 3300-3700 pounds, we'd just like to know which is right, ya know? =)

Both are correct. Depending on options and engine size, the weight can vary that much. Nice car if it is in good condition.

My friend is a complete Pontiac TA junkie. He's currently got a 77 with 500hp,(stock the 400 was 180) and a custom megasquirt multiport fuel injection system that's about done. If ya tell me the year and what it has in it I'll ask him. He probably will know off the top of his head.

My mom has one, it's either a 78 or a 79...it's pretty rusty, but I guess it's run well the time she has driven, but now she drives a V6 Mustang...

His is probably closer to the 3700lb mark, the later ones got heavier, but 75 or so had the really heavy railroad tie 5mph bumpers.

Which engine? 400 chevy, 400 pontiac or 403 olds? I like the olds engines best, they really take a beatin' and beg for more.
