I have questions for all the 280z experts out there. I have a 1977 280z, 4 speed. My husband and I have been working on the car for the past year, had the head rebuilt, now the dealership is telling us that we need a new air flow meter, fuel pressure thing, fuel rail and new fuel injection wire harness. Does anyone knows where I can get information on getting those part at a good deals. Dealership is asking almost $2K to fix all that. Car is running very rich, eating up gas like crazy and giving out major black smoke. I put in lot of money on this car already and hate to sell it. It is a canary yellow, no major problem visually, new carpet and all... Just want to keep this little sporty and learn how to drive it myself. Any help is appreciated.

Jackie

I'll see If I can find some information about those parts for you.

Try some of the Nico Sponsors located on the left!<===========

there are a lot of "Z Car" forrums online, most with forsale /wanted adds, you can find just about everything you need online through forrums and or ebay, also you might want to check in with your local chapter of the ZCCA at ZCCA.org, you'll find people in your area with similar experiences and most of us have tons of spares and like helping out fellow Z entheusiasts

Try Motorsport in Orange or Santa Ana California. (It's right on the city boundaries so I don't know which city it's actually located.) It's on Collins Ave. It is easy to find by an internet search. It may even be one of the sponsers "to the right". They sell nothing but older Z car parts and accessories. They have a catalog that you can order. It might be free, I know it's free if you go into the store. They do mail order too and ship parts.

They have consistently met ALL of my needs regarding Z car parts. Their prices are reasonable and in most cases no where near what a dealer charges.
