idle should be somewhere around 15psi and at WOT you'll see pressure exceeding 60psi, problem is ythe stock sender/gauge aren't the most acurate on the planet, so long as the lifters aren't clattering and the gauge still responrd to higher revs I wouldn't worry about it, the L6's seem to last for about 300k and you can get replacment N42 blocks cheap! or it's a good excuse to upgrade to a flat top F54 or even a turbo
