this is my clean datsun i just bought 2 months ago and its very original on everything in this truck from tires to am push button radio and window rubber seals not even cracked....

personally, it's up to you...
I prefer the stock look myself though there are tons of people who like lowered ones...

Super clean 620 you found! All my Datsun trucks are lowered but in my opinion yours should be left stock. It looks showroom ready...:cool:

thanks thats what everyone says keep it stock the only thing i need to buy is a set of tires and muffler other than that it runs good.... :cool:

I asked this in the other thread.  Are you sure it's a 76?  Only the 73 620 had the L16 engine and the 'Datsun 1600' emblems on the side.  I once owned a blue 73 620 with those same emblems and I had a 75 parts truck that just said 'Datsun' on the side.

The Datsun Owner's Workshop Manual shows the L16 in the '73, but you'd have to assume that the '72  620 would also have that engine. The '74 model year had the L18, and it shows that the 75 and '76 shared the L20B engine. The I.D. tag on the firewall will say what engine was there originally. John

Do your fender emblems say 'Datsun 1600' or am I seeing things?

Odd that someone would have put the late 72/73 emblems on a 76.
