Building a 76 280z for Bonneville salt flats. And im needing to know if anyone has cut and lengthened the rear shock towers to lower the rear end. Thanx

Probably, but I don't know of a certain car offhand. Shorter struts would achieve the same goal.

They've more likely brought the struts inboard (cantilever-style) like Apex Engineered does.
