Guys, this is the 1974 240K I just brought up. It is the Aus. version of the Kenmeri Skyline. The overall condition is pretty good. Very little rust in a few places with home job paint on it. The car is still at Customs and I will be picking it up in Long Beach next week. The car is running fine, with no mechanical problems to speak of. It has an L24 with auto transmission. You will notice the car has brand new GT-R replica flares, grille, and spoiler. It also comes with a brand new carpet kit in black and weather strip kit. I am asking $7500 and this will also include brand new period correct front and rear GT-R badges and I will also throw in a set of 14" SSR replica wheels. Everything is already paid for as the car is already here. The only thing that will need to be done is to get it verified by your DMV and then register it. I also have the correct pedals to convert the car to a manual transmission. I am putting this up for sale as I have a line on another car in Japan and I would like to gather some funds for that. Anyone in So. Cal is welcome to pick it up from me while I am there next week, sometime between the 19th and 23rd. Otherwise I will be bringing the car back to Phoenix. I can be reached at [email protected].

I hope to have it back here by the end of next week. It came in last Friday and has been held up at Customs for the last few days. I expect they will release it by Tuesday, seeing as Monday is a holiday. You are welcome to check it out. I'm down in Maricopa, about 20 min from Chandler. I'm not sure what will come of it, but if it sells I'll buy the other car I mentioned. If not, then this one will be built up as was the original plan. I knew the personal history of this car from the last few years and have many pics of it before, during, and after it's body and paint work. I knew it was a solid car from the start. It's also good to know the previous owner as I do.

Cool - I'm in North Phoenix, but I'm downtown on weekdays for work... Maybe we can meet up somewhere in between and do lunch.

I would happily trade my soul for that car.Heck...I'd trade it for the change to drive it once.

Allright guys, I just got back last night with the car. She's in pretty good shape now that I have had a chance to look her over. The paint is really crappy. And there are some dings and such here and there. The underside and the engine bay look great though. This car is very, very solid. The interior is fair, with the seats and dash pad needing some attention. The stainless trim will need some work, but it's not pitted or rusted. She runs just fine. I was actually surprised at how good it sounded. Fired right up and idles no problem. I have found almost no rust at all. A few small spots but nothing you would not find on an old Ca. or Az. car. I will be posting it up on e-bay in the next couple of days if no one expresses interest before hand. As I said earlier, I'm just south of Phoenix proper and can be reached at [email protected] . Thanks

Brian

Brian - We'll expect to see the car here: zeroforum?id=203

I'll even save a spot for it under the tent, and we can discuss finding it a new home (potential partial trades?)

If I don't sell the car before then, I'll definately take you up on that offer with the show. How long do I have to register? I guess even if I sell the car I could still bring my '71 or my friends '90 R32 (MotoRex car). I already have a few`things lined up for the '74 should it not sell quickly. I'll most likely do a little garage body work and then a rattle can paint job in black primer. I have my set of Wats I bought to use on the car as well. I figure it can't be any uglier than the paint job it currently has.

B - You can register right up to the day of the show (altho, if you register early, they mail you your stuff and you don't have to wait in line...)

Looking forward to meeting up - Bring them ALL!!!!

Well, it didn't reach the reserve. Not even close. I must say I was a bit surprised. Anyhow, Greg, if the invite is still open I'd like to take you up on it. My buddy and I can register today and bring both the '74 and the R32 to the show. Give me a call if you would at either 619-807-1590 or 480-720-9320 as I'd like to ask you a couple of things. Thanks

Brian

Well, it looks as though the car is now spoken for. So unfortunately I most likely will not be able to bring it out to the show next weekend. I am still waiting on the final word, but it's looking good. I will tell you that I have something else that will soon be on it's way over. It should be here by the end of April. I look forward to meeting up with you guys then.
