I have a L20 engine that i want to put in my 1972 510. the L20 hits the cross member. I took it out and i was going to reverse the cross member but it has tapered bolts. what are my options?

you need to use the L16 oil pan and L16 engine mounts on the stock crossmember. Should solve all your problems.

it all bolts right up.

oh yeah, I think you need the L16 oil pick up and dipstick maybe?

with that swapped over it should work fine. If you are still having trouble I can recomend you over to a site that'll have more info.
