I was wondering what these two bolt holes in the trunk were used for? I have two bolts and it looks like the ends were cut off. They were just sitting in the holes.

Does anybody know what the holes may have been used for?
Still looking for an answer.

Might have been intended to fit a shoulder harness attach bracket? Required for some sanctioned races.

Why would they put it in the trunk? Why two holes?

Possible an attempt to add 2 brackets at 90 degree angle to each other and tilted 45 degrees from verticle so as to allow 2 shoulder belts, driver and passsenger? I didn't drill these holes and don't know what the builder was drinking so no further guess work from me !!!!
