Hey all,

New here. My uncle gave my 17-year old son his 1963 Datsun 1500 Fairlady to restore. It has been stored indoors, but not started since 1999. Body is in good shape, but so far we have gotten the brakes and the carborator unfrozen, replaced the fuel line, and gotten a replacement oil filter (which was a chore, the one in there even Bosch didn't have a record of it being made!). We are trying to get it up and running this month, but need some help finding replacement parts. Any help with any of the below would be very much appreciatied:

1. Replacement master brake cylinder. Seems like the 63 used a 3/4" diameter, while the 64 and after had a 7/8". I don't think this is a big deal to swap, but I cannot seem to find either part.

2. Replacement master clutch cylinder. Can't find much info on this one at all. Not sure if there is a place that I can look to find such old parts or optional replacements?

3. Wheel cylinders for the brakes. Same deal. We got the drums off and will need to turn them down to get them working again, but the cylinders almost certainly need to be replaced.

4. On brakes, does anyone know if there is a kit to replace the front or back with disc brakes?

5. Is there a kit to upgrade to power steering?

6. We need to replace the ignition. There isn't any key for this oddly, only for the trunk and the glove box. Is there a kit or requirements that someone can provide info on?

Thanks in advance!

Josh
