In general the consensus on the forums has been 19x8.5. I have 19x8.5 myself. Not sure if you could get much more under the wells.Major153 wrote:Just a question for those of you with 19" rims, what the width of your rim? What the maximum width size that's safe to install?
I'm thinking about getting some 19 X 8.5...
any suggestions on tires sizes??
btw... those with aftermarket rims/wheels, how do you know how much PSI to put in??
Thanks
Curious as to what offset you're running on that 275…. I don't always look to rim width as much as where the offset puts the tire. I've noticed guys are fitting 245's nicely with 40+ offsets.OVRBST wrote:The front rims are nicely tucked in the wheel well, and honestly was debating on whether or not to run a spacer to get them out a little further. No rubbing lock to lock either.I'm running 245's on the 9.5's and it's not really as stretched as I thought it would be.
The rears are 10.5's sporting 275's and again there's no rubbing....yet. The tires are completely flush with the fender. Gives it the widest most aggressive stance possible. The problem will be once it's lowered. I don't think an inch will hurt, and if anything the added negative camber will help. Fender trimming will be mandatory if I plan to attempt to tuck these bad boys at all. I'd say the 10.5's with a 255 would be ideal as it would stretch the tire into the wheel well.
We'll see. I'll post pics later.
Dang!!! That looks sweet. You really need to post up some more pics of your coupe from all angles man!OVRBST wrote:How about staggered 19x9x5 fronts and 19x10.5 rears Pro-kits are next.
What offsets are you running for front and rear?OVRBST wrote:The front rims are nicely tucked in the wheel well, and honestly was debating on whether or not to run a spacer to get them out a little further.
