ok the wheels are 19x9 19x10 et32 f/r car is on teins 2" drop

first of all tirerack recommends a 245/40-19 for 19" tires which for me (I dont favor the stretched look too much on a daily driver) 245/40-19 front and 275/35-19 rear...

does anyone have pictures of how this looks? its would alter the speedometer 2.1% too slow (too big) but with the 245/35-19 275/30-19 combo the speedometer would read 1.6% too fast (smaller diameter)

would the 245/40 look too chunky??

thanks!

I have 245/35 19" I got from the Rack, if I had to do it over again I would do 245/40 instead as i was afraid that the 40's would rub. Be prepared to roll your fenders on the rear, that will rub for sure.

I have the stock M45 sport rims so I had to use spacers so the rims are pushed out to corners.

Which tires are you thinking about? I got the Bridgestone Potenza 050A right before they changed over to 050A Pole Position (the 07 model). I love them and got them for 141 each, total bargain.

I run 245's on the front and 275's on the back. It looks really good. My wheels sizes are 19x8 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear.

that's really nice but you forgot one important piece of information.

Radide, did you have to roll your rear fenders?

anyone have pics of these 245/40-19 setups?

as for tires, if I end up going 245/35-19 I already have new Bridgestone Potenza S02s in the front and S03s in the back (unless I put them on another set of wheels)

I was thinking of going with Falken, FK452s or something. My friend works for Falken so thats a plus and I've had good luck with them on my 240

No I didn't have to roll the fenders. My rear wheels offset is +35. Its all in the offset for proper fitment and no rubbing.

You must have had those stored away for awhile, the SO3 are long gone and the SO2 was the Boxster stock tire so I think they might still make them. I have the SO3's on my 300ZX but I hardly drive it...they are great tires, so are the 050A's which was their replacement.

Any tire that is more than 5 or 6 years old is much too dangerous to drive on. The rubber has probably hardened completely, and any stress is likely to occur in a most disastrous fashion ...

Please change immediately to new tires!

Not necessarily that old, the SO3 were 3 years ago and the S02's are still made...do you believe that even new fresh tires?

yup the S03s are about 3 years old and the S02s are slightly newer... as far as their actual production date I'm not sure but they have been sprayed down with silicone sprat packed in plastic bags away from the sun so I'm hoping they will be ok... if not well... a waste of money :D

sooo anyone with pictures of their tire setups on the y33?
