If you don't want them, tell him I will give him some money for them.

The only benefits they will afford you are looks and handling.

Ride quality has to degrade because you don't have that massive cushion of air that the 17s have.

Fuel economy may or may not go down. It's hard to say because it depends on how much HWY versus street driving you do. Street driving will suffer, HWY mileage might improve.

Your acceleration will likely be reduced.

The issue with rubber is two fold. 19" tires are expensive like I mentioned in your other thread, BUT you also have to contend with the fact that there is NO way to rotate these, because they are staggered.

> 19" tires are expensive> Quality will degrade some, but not a lot> Performance & Fuel Economy will probably be unchanged as the forged 19's are very light weight, though the larger tire will make the forged 19" wheel/tire combo very close to cast 17" wheel/tire combo.

The best reasons to do it would be the tires on his are better or he'll let you sell them and split the proceeds with him ... or the looks.

When I had my 04 Sedan 6MT, I upgraded to 05 Z suspension + 19" forged G35 rims and falken tires all at once.

The car felt 300% better.... it was amazing.

if you live in a place that has decent roads with no potholes I highly recommend this combo.

i know that tires are gonna be expensive for the 19's..but what size did you get for the front and rear and does the rear tend to rub on the rear wheel wells when the back of the car is weighted down or going over speed bumps and ect...??

im really considering picking up these 19's

This one is a no-brainer if you have the cash for a set of tires. You are getting the rims for free- so your only cost right now would be the tires - I havent priced 19" tires but I imagine you can get a good set for under a G.

You will still have your current rims/tires so you could always swap back if you need to.
