Hey everybody, I've looked up lots of threads on pics and installs of infiniti wheels on our cars. I really like them because they provide a more aggressive fit but they appear to be stock and definitely stay classy!

I found this deal on craigslist:

http://nashville.craigslist.org/pts/2939940969.html

Now I know that these would fit my car.. the question is what kind of price do you think I should get for these? They have some curb rash, no lugs, and they need all new tires.

I feel like I should be able to talk him down quite a bit because of those factors.

What about buying new tires? I think I need some 225/45-19 and a couple 245/40-19 this would run about 900 for new tires.
I'm not opposed to stretching tires to fit if I could get some cheaper.

What do you all think?

nice rims, bad deal. you can get a set for $800 with decent tread and no curb rash. if you really like those rims, you should browse infinity forums and check out their classifieds section, they always have a few sets for sale.

I actually saw these on your coupe first! I believe that these are the same ones you have?

Thanks for the reply, I guess I should be patient and see what else is out there, Nashville is a big town and there's gotta be some available sooner or later.

Wow great advice, just found an identical set with no scratches and less than 5000 miles on tires for $650! Probably gonna go check these out.

go figure, yes mine are the same rims. i got mine for $650 off craigslist locally. one pair of the tires was nearly bald, so it was an ok deal. had I been more patient I could have got a better deal. just recently i saw on craigslist a set of the same rims painted gunmetal for $500, one pair of tires were 70% and the other needed replacing. i was considering buying them just for the sake of flipping them for a profit.

g35driver.com forum has a big wheels for sale section

I got mine for $650 with a little rash and bald tires. It was just too good to pass up for me and I couldn't be happier. I paid around $800 for new tires.

I got mine for $600 with "okay" tires, the guy i got them from burned-out a few times.
But i've seen them go as low as $500 in good conditions on rare occasions...so negotiate and patch them up yourself or just wait for a better deal.

even if you have to pay $1k for a set of rims with good tread tires, it's a better deal than paying $600 for rims and $900 for new tires plus the cost to mount the tires

Dang I haven't gotten a reply from this seller and in a couple days I'm moving an hour down the road back to Nashville. Those $650 rims are already like a five hour drive from where I am and will be like a seven hour drive soon :/

Thanks for your advice and I'll just keep a look out in Nashville and get exactly what I'm looking for.

I'd pay $500 max for used wheels, and that's in perfect condition (without tires, obviously.) I only paid $486 shipped for my tires, 245/40/19 Achilles ATR Sports. Love them so much, and I've only had them for less than 2 weeks. Great dry traction, and super quiet on the freeway. I'd recommend them no doubt.
