19" G35 RIM OWNERS

Hey guys,
I have the G35 19" Rays Wheels in my storage and I'm planning to get some rubber for them.
I still have some time to price shop but I was wondering which would be the most optimal tire size that I can get for a 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5SE.
I'd like to get the best size so that the speedometer won't be disturbed.

Feel free to drop a line about your preferred brand and size.
P.S I am looking for summer tires.

Hey, you'll need something around the size of 235/40/19 or 235/35/19. That will be very very close to your oem wheel size. I would suggest http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html to calculate it. Take into the fact the width of the wheels compared to the ones you have now as well to get the ridge width tire.

the g35 rays are staggered, so you'll actually want to have 2 sets of diff sizes. you don't need to, as it's only a .5" width difference which really shouldn't affect the overall diameter of the tire that much. they come with 225/45 on the front and 245/40 on the rears, it's pretty close to stock but a tiny bit too large. i was running that setup for a while, i just got a new set of rubber and i'm on 235/40/19 all around, it's like 0.5% smaller than stock according to tire calculators, so i think it's a good size. i would have gone with a pair of diff sizes for the fronts and rears, but i got a killer deal on some tires off craigslist that i just couldn't pass up.

How much of a drop do you have on the front?
I'm also planning to install Tein S-Tech springs on them as well along with the 19" rays.
