19" g35 rays wheels on 2.5

ok first off don't flame me...i know they belong in the wheel section but it seems that nobody checks that anymore..so i'm about to purchase 19x8 front and 19x8.5 rear g35 rays wheels for my 2.5 after seeing how gorgeous they are on blanc's coupe...i do have some questions tho before taking the plunge...

1. are there any fitment issue my car being 2.5 and sitting on 16 stocks?2. with a staggerred setup, what is the best size tires to get? or should i follow g35's fitment of 225/40/19 front and 245/40/19 rear (i want to cover the wheel gap as much as possible without requiring a drop)3. other tire option, like blancs did, 245/40/19 all around (in his case, 245/35/19 all around) so i can rotate tires..4. if i did the all around tires, am i gonna run into fitment issues?5. if i do need a drop? by how much? (don't wanna rub or have turning issues)6. tpms. how's the fitment gonna be on the g35s?should i even bother taking them down on the stocks? or the light will come on no matter what?7. lastly, center caps...are nissan's and infiniti's center caps interchangeable? i have read only from few websites that the fitment is 2".. can anyone confirm this? i love the g35 wheels but i don't want infiniti's logos on the wheels...

...i know there hasn't been a lot of coupers here that has gone the g35 route...so i'm really looking for some answers from blanc(gorgeous coupe btw)but anyone who has some infos please help me...don't wanna make wrong decisions...i promise to post pictures if successful...thx in advance

You have 5 posts and are new to the forums.. Did you post this in wheels and get no response? Post it there first and you dont have to worry about being flamed.

and i have some answers...

1. no, im a 2.5 on 20s its the entire diameter of the outside tire that matters.2. the wheel gap will not change based on your wheel change, the entire diameter should be the same (more wheel, less tire) your gap will be unaffected.3. thats the best choice, stagger is silly with our FWD4. not if the diameter is close to the same (dont get 60 sidewalls lol)5. theres only 1 drop out... eibach.. and you wont rub.. i dont on 245/35/20 +386. you can swap em into the wheels, or let the light go on (i have my light on)7. they are interchangeable..

Dude ur awesome! but just a few more questions hope u don't mind..1. What's side wall?u said not to get 60?how much should i have then?2.about the drop,did u say to drop 1" only?on 245/35/19 or 245/40/19?coz i called a local tire shop and they told me that i might rub if i drop with 40s..and to clarify, which ones did u say best fit my 2.5, 35s or 40s?3. Best brand of drop kit for the money?4.does the stock hubs have center caps..os those are one piece?5.last one sorry,u thnk 600 for a set of rays wheels are reasonable considering one has minor rash on lip.or i can get better deals?Thanks again for ur inputs..really appreciate it man!

i know im awesome. im just posting info thats already here though... please use the search.. not the one on the right top corner.. but the onein the middle of the page on top..

1. Sidewall is the height of the tire (low profile)... 60 is huge... tire specs are width/heitht/wheelsize you need to get the ones that make your wheel fill the original diameter... look for a tire diameter calculator online or search here as its been posted numberous times

2. the WHEEL SIZE determines your tire size... you can put 15" wheels with massive tires, or 2os with smaller tires.. its the TOTAL DIAMETER that matters.. 2.5 3.5 doesnt matter

3. theres only 1 kit

4. center caps are CAPS, and every one on the planet is 1 piece.

5. depends on the overall condition, im not a wheel expert

I bought mine from the classifieds on this site from an infiniti member, $700 thats including shipping and handling. They were on here for a long time to, I wanna say 2 to 3 months, then I finally IMed to see if he still had them. Check this site, ebay and craiglist. I checked all of these for about 3 months then finally found some that had minimal damage at a great price.
