Hey guys, I was just wondering, I'm interested in these rims, Konig Zero Black with Red Lip 18x9 with +45 Offset. I was wondering if it will clear with the eibach lower kit drop and if I need to roll my fenders?

Here is the pics of the Konigs

Image

I was also looking at other rims as well if the Konigs wont fit or are too small . So its Konig Zero 18x19, Tenzo Cuzco 19's, or Tenzo Type M 19's. Let me know what you guys think!

For the Konigs, will it be better to have +25 offset or +45 offset for 18x9? As far as getting the Tenzo Type M, will getting the tires be more expensive then the tires for the Konigs? If so how much?

Ya the tires will be a little more. I'm running 245/35/19 on 19x8.5 Tenzo Tenspec and it's fine with my Eibachs.

With eibachs I don't think you need to role fenders, since its not completely slammed. I have 19x9.5 and I only rolled the rears. Now I'm looking to add spacers to give it that flush look.
I was actually gonna get the type-m myself. Get those.

Damn you guys are making my decision hard haha. See the thing is I can get those Konigs 18X9 for only 97 bucks each. The Tenzos type M 19" are like 200+ each. I really like the Konigs for the looks-price wise, I feel like the Konigs are worth it more. I'm not sure anymore haha. Anyways, if I get the Konigs. Will the +25 offset be better fit or +45 offset? Frankly, reading all the stuff in forums, Im confused on how the offset works. So would +25 offset stick out more? And +45 offset sink in too much? Or is it the other way around?

The +25 offset should stick out more. If u were to drop it on Coilovers and roll the fenders your ride would look sick on +25 offset. Oh the possibilities! Lol

So what would you guys recommend +25 or +45 offset. If both works which would look better with eibachs? And if +25 offset I don't need to roll fenders as well right?

Remember to upload some pics when you do. Can't wait! Have you considered maybe 19s instead?

1) 18x9 with +25 offset with eibachs - no rub and no rolling fenders right? Jus making sure...

I wud consider 19 for the Konig but 18 was the biggest and 9 was the widest.

2) Also what's the best tires for them 245/40/18? Do I need go adjust my speedometer if so?

I doubt you will need to roll them with the Eibachs, they dont go that low.

It's actually a tough call

Here is a test fit of 18x9 +22, with BC coils

It's a lot of poke, yours will be only 3mm more sunken.

Also, on the Eibachs, you may not have enough camber to properly hide all of that poke. Might look a little odd.

I'd recommend 235/40/18 to make sure you don't rub the inner fender lip. Otherwise, you can get it rolled or trimmed. Mine was just trimmed off.

Damn.. That's is alot of poke..so is +45 offset too sunken in? I mean I think +25 offset would have alot of concaveness to it than +45. But if it isn't and if +45 will a better fit with little to no poke.. I rather get +45. Can someone confirm this or recommend what I shud do?

+25 offset with nice concaveness but have alot of poke like pic above
Or
+45 offset with no concaveness but have little or no poke?

If I'm eibachs rather than coils would I have less poke on the +25 offset or the height of the ride with have no affect on the offsets?

i bought the rims about 3 years ago and couldnt afford 19s at the time, now i wish i had just saved up more and gotten them, but i just wanted rims so bad. although it is nice to have a bit more tire for the awful roads here

Personally I would get the +25. For the REAR, tho. There's no WAY 18x9+25 is fitting in the front.

So do 18x9+25 and 18x9+45, would look epic.

Remember, the pic I showed is not under load:

^^^Im on 19x9.5 +22 and it fits good to me, might need to get some fender work though. Oh and I have Sedan so maybe there is some difference.

Thats a good idea actually. Yea, Im just looking for a way to not do extra work or money to roll the fenders. I just want it to all fit well and comfy. I bought eibach front and rear camber kits but didnt have them install yet. Would that help?

Hey sorry to bring a old thread back to life but I was wondering if I wanted to do +25 offset with these rims.. Can I use universal fender flares to hide the poke? Or would it look ugly? And Im just saying that for the back wheels.. I know the fronts won't be able to fit.

You don't necessarily need to hide the poke at all. If you are lowered on coils and you have some negative camber than the poke won't be noticeable. Plus poke can look great too!

Well I got eibachs so that's the thing... I'm not getting coilovers yet.. So is it wierd looking with eibachs?
