I was out working on my 240sx today - swapping off my stock wheels and putting on my new GramLights 57c wheels. So the I thought just for fun...

Now, I've heard that Rogue owners are supposed to look for high offset (FWD type wheels), so I wanted to see if some low offset RWD wheels would fit and what they might look like.

Now, keep in mind, the tires mounted on these wheels are not for a Rogue. They are 245/40/18, meant for a sport/touring/performance car. If I were thinking of putting them on a Rogue, I'd go for a 245/50 or 245/55 or something a bit more beefy. So disregard the small tires and just use your imagination a little bit re: the rubber.

Any bets on whether or not they fit?

They do!

The car is on the ground (despite the jack being under it). Again, forget the smaller diameter tires and imagine something a bit taller. I think they look pretty sharp... Though, I think a 6 or 7 or 8 spoke wheel design looks a little more classy on a little SUV like a Rogue. The 5 spoke wheels are better for sports cars.. (just my personal opinion). But the fitment of the wheels is great in my opinion.. Check out some of the side shots.

Oh by the way.. the center caps even fit in case anyone was wondering. I know different wheels have different center caps and not all would fit, but these do... And yes in this picture the Rogue is jacked back up a bit, so the wheel gap is exaggerated.

So what do you guys think? Anybody up for some wider, more aggressive concave looking wheels? Forget the flat, boring front wheel drive options... lets see someone mount some cool rwd wheels on a Rogue and make it look mean!!!

*disclaimer... again, I'm not planning on running these on my Rogue. It was just a test fit for the heck of it. Also, I know different crowds have very different tastes for wheels..
Also, if anyone is curious... here is what these wheels look like on my 240sx.

Heh...it's actually okay looking; not dune-buggied out.

What, only 245's? I want to see someone shoehorn some steamrollers under there! j/k!

Actually, a slightly larger offset for a flush look would be good. Then run the H&R sport springs (Qashqai fitment) Eddnog put on his Rogue:
