Just had these Motegi's installed the other day. Running 245/45/18 with a 40 mm offset. Before anyone makes the comment, Eibach springs are going on next weekend.

Nice Rims.

What kinda rubber do you have on them?

What are they made of, and how durable are they?

They dont seem that expensive, which is nice.

Im not looking to spend a s**t load of dough

I am running General Exclaim UHP tires. Decided to run the 45 series vs 40 for the higher specs. If you want to stay as close to the stock wheel dimensions as possible go with 40. The 45 has much better limits (380 AA A 100W), is not far off of the manufacturer size and gives me a little more piece of mind as far as potholes and bumps go. Here is a link to the tires Exclaim UHP .

The wheels as mentioned earlier are Motegi SP10 18X8 40mm offset. Here is a great link through TireRackMotegi SP10 . They are 1 piece cast alloy with a lifetime structural warranty and a 1 year finish warranty.

I have always been a patron of Discount Tire and they were able to get me everything at or cheaper then Tire Rack prices. They are also running a 100 MIR until 3/31 on tire/wheel packages and you can finance anything over $1000 for 12 months at 0 APR through their card.

Hope I answered your questions

Thanks guys IMO these pictures really dont do the wheels enough justice. Its a very clean look without the bling. I was originally afraid the wheels were going to be darker because they are called "hyper black" but it is a duller version of polished aluminum with no black at all.

Now i just need to get the car lowered but that is next weekends goal.

I saw that those tires were summer tires.

I live in PA, and we get crappy cold weather for a little more than a 3rd to half the year.

So if i got after market rims and tires, does that mean that i have to go back to my stockers for the cold season?

I would just for the fact that all the dirt/debris and road salt are gonna tear up aftermarket rims

I would definitely change tires if you live in a certain part of the world or country that has bad winters. As you stated these are in fact summer tires and are not designed for traction in bad elements. Fortunately for me and I imagine Adidas we both live in areas that the climate is very moderate during the winter. This allows me to always run high performance tires.

Ive only had the car for one week and the wheels/tires for 3 days so I cant answer your question. One thing I love about Tire Rack is they have a very thorough review section based upon customer feedback. Here is the link. As you can see they have been rated superior by users for wet traction.

Like those rims a lot. Also by getting the 45 profile tire you made the fender gap a bit smaller than stock which helps the looks a bit (not that it matters as you said you'll drop it anyway).
